Gavinton Village Hall

Gavinton Village Hall was extensively refurbished, in 2008,  and boasts a large hall, small meeting room and a fully functioning kitchen.

The village hall is very much the heart of the village and the strength of Gavinton as a community is very much based around the hall and the activities organised by the Village Hall Committee.

Please use the menu on the left for full details of activities in Gavinton, how to hire the hall for a meeting or event and much more.

Re opening ceremony held in October 2008.

The Gavinton Village Hall Project, which cost £350k was part funded by the Big Lottery Fund, Forward Scotland, Scottish Borders Council, Gannochy Trust, Lloyds TSB, Garfield Weston, Robertson Trust, Gavinton Hall Assoc. Awards for All, and most importantly the residents of Gavinton.

Major Alexander Trotter, Lord-Lieutenant of Berwickshire, declared the village hall officially open and recognised the hard work and efforts made by the voluntary committee in providing this facility for their local community.
