It is bordered by the Duns Community Council to the east, Lammermuir and Greenlaw & Hume to the west, and Leitholm, Eccles & Birgham to the south. The area is served by the A6112/A6105 roads, and the B6460. Most of the hamlets are served by minor, unclassified roads. Accurate population information is not known as available demographic data does not coincide with the Community Council area. There are around 290 residential properties.
