Community Volunteers Volunteering and helping one another does not need to be organised centrally by government or by the local authority. Local community councils and individuals, who are prepared and able to respond effectively, can help deal with many local issues – that’s where you come in! Your help and skills in supporting and assisting our community with a severe weather event or incident are vital.
