Do you need better internet in another room or outside office?
There’s no need to struggle with inconsistent Wi-Fi around the house. What works near the router doesn’t always reach a remote spare bedroom on the other side of the house, while those with an office in the garden might not get any signal at all. The problem is especially acute in old buildings with thick stone walls
The good news is that the problem is easily solved using powerline adapters (or homeplugs). These work using the electrical wiring in your house, and are not too costly. The hardware normally comes in the form of a pair of adapters, one of which connects to your router with an Ethernet cable, and plugs into a mains socket near your router
The other adapter can then be plugged in anywhere else in your home to provide either a wired Ethernet connection or a Wi-Fi signal. It’s quick and easy to set up. And if you need more connections in the future, you can simply plug in additional adapters
