The village green is at the heart of our community but our much‑loved play park on the green has been in need of some TLC! The community council has campaigned with the support of Cllr Mark Rowley, Cllr John Greenwell and Cllr Donald Moffat to have the park upgraded and we have just heard the wonderful news that £60 thousand pounds has been allocated in the SBC 2022-23 budget for Gavinton park.
There will be lots of engagement between SBC and the community to determine how we wish our park to look and which items of play equipment to include. A small committee will be formed to help with community engagement, anyone wishing to help with this committee please contact the community council through:
